Affirmations have made a big impact on my mental health, but I won’t pretend I’m perfect at using them all the time.

There are seasons where life feels full in every direction – motherhood, relationships, responsibilities, goals. And in the middle of all of that, trying to feel calm and present can feel harder than it should.

When I notice myself getting overwhelmed or rushing through everything, I have to intentionally pause. I’ll grab my phone or a notebook where I’ve written affirmations and start reading them…sometimes a little aggressively at first 😅

Then I slow down, take a breath, and repeat them again with more softness. That’s when I start to feel grounded again.

I’m still learning how to create more peace in my everyday life, but these affirmations have helped me slow down and come back to what matters.

Here are a few I come back to often 🤍

How to Use Affirmations Daily

You can use affirmations in whatever way fits your day best. There’s no “right” way to do this at all!

For me, I keep them in a few easy places so they’re always within reach:

  • a note in my phone
  • a notebook
  • sticky notes on my bathroom mirror

If you can, say them out loud. There’s something powerful about hearing the words, even if it feels a little awkward at first.

And on days when that feels like too much, even quietly repeating them in your head can help shift your mindset.

Start simple. One or two affirmations can be enough to reset your day.
