For YEARS I’ve had it in the back of my mind to start a blog. At a career fair in high school, I vividly remember someone at a tech company table saying blogs are going to explode. Am I going to date myself here? Yeah, that was in 2010 or 2011. Jump to today and yes, blog, vlogs, and every kind of content is exploding.
For YEARS, I didn’t think I had anything important to share in a blog or any other form of content. I also doubted that I’d be able to “niche down” enough to make a blog worth it. Now, in my 30s, I finally thought, “What the heck—I can just do this for me.” I know I’ll find my people along the way, and if you’re here now, I give you the warmest welcome.
I wanted to create a space where I could feel unbound and…limitless. I have so many interests and things I like to talk about, and at the root of it I came to the realization that this is just me. I want to be loyal to myself and what I love. Thus – Loyal & Limitless.
Nowadays, it feels like a catch-22 to “label” yourself in order to describe who you are to others—what you like, what you do—because you’re not trying to “box” yourself into any one thing. But to that point, that’s why, as humans, we get to be limitless. How fun is that? How freeing is that? Yes, we’ve got a lot of labels to help create descriptions, value, and depth to who we are as people. Here are a few of mine: wife, mom, golfer, Hufflepuff, baker, bookworm, and a proud Catan Empress. Naturally, I’ll use these things to describe who I am, what I like, and what you can expect to see from me here at Loyal & Limitless.
I’m Jenna. I was born and raised in a small-ish town in north Arkansas, and I still happily reside in this beautiful state. I’ve been married to my incredible husband for almost 10 years. In our first year of marriage, we became dog parents to a classic good boy—Charlie the golden retriever. I won’t say it fully prepared us to bring our son into the world, but having a pet first definitely prepped us for some of those fun baby things. I became “Mom” to my sweet son in 2023, and what a wild ride the past couple of years have been. At the same time, the whole experience has opened up my heart and mind in ways I never thought imaginable. In some regard, I would even credit my desire to finally jump into the world of entrepreneurship and sharing content to my son.
I worked at a small business for 11 years and at the beginning of this year, I took the leap away from it to start something new for myself and my family. I’m venturing into entrepreneurship in a way that feels utterly terrifying and equally exhilarating. This blog is part of that adventure. I want to share about my path here and through entrepreneurship, navigating work and mom life, things that have worked for me as a mom, products I love, encouragement and affirmations I live by, and so much more. Ultimately, I’d love to build a community of women supporting each, moms especially, but I also want to create and build ways for this community and myself to give back – whether it’s financially, mentally, or through time. There’s a lot going on around us, and the best way to move forward is by supporting each other.
So I happily invite you all to join the fun! Whether you’re a first-time parent, an aspiring entrepreneur, or a self-improvement enthusiast—this is the place for you!
